With some locations, it is important to return several times to capture the area’s different moods. It can take time to get to the heart and soul of a scene and I refer to this as unpeeling the layers. When you do spend sufficient time in a place, it then begins to reveal its character to you. I fell in love with Anson Bay and returned again and again. On this occasion I wanted to capture the scene on a beautiful sunny day with the alluring blues of the sky reflected in the water. You will see a family at play on the golden sand, which gives the image scale. They had a beautiful day in paradise all to themselves.
